Prepping should be able to include things like relocation. Honor requires that the house be dealt with first as this is not a disaster reason for relocation. As such the blog , here has been some what put to the back burner, so to speak. The economy is what it is, and I am fairly certain it will stay this way for a long time, perhaps decades. Yes Decades. Best suggestion I can give is reduce your over all debt, get involved with getting your "act" together, if you are not doing so already. As to savings, well if there is inflation / deflation, etc, Look into stockpiling things like food, water and the like, additionally Watch the spending that you do.
Get involved locally, Groups who community garden are generating food or medicinal herbs and the like,
While not saying do not use conventional medicine , if you can do alternatives first and not have to pay for health care, great. For those of you / us who need it, use it , but get informed, communicate and this also means LISTEN, not just Talk. As to those who claim to have all the answers, Do your OWN research. Seriously!.
Get fit, learn a new skill or several, perhaps a few that may even help to generate some income, barter is not a bad thing, though the IRS wants numbers for income and the like, Do not blame the IRS itself,
Read up on Government at all levels, and then you just may find that you are paying more than just taxes.
a thought, if you want civics lessons, start reading the United States of America's Constitution, Not what ever commentator says, Read it for your self, Go on from there.
This is not a rant, but seriously things got where they are now for a reason. That reason? Too much blind obeying what some one said and attempted to make policy or law, not enough, "Hey wait a minute!" and "This is not what we want, not in this form any way."
